In another site that I'm a member of, they have all the states listed so that people who live there can go and find others in their area. What do you think about doing something like that here?
Well people hear come from all different countries, but I guess they could be ordered by province or something.

I say any way to improvve the catigory search to make it more spasific is a good thing. Jon
will that not end up making the site too cleeky? people from certain states/countries will end up only talking to others from their area ... and people may end up less likely to talk to everyone before they find someone from their area.
Not necissarily. I love meeting people from everywhere, I just like to know who else is on here from my state. Good idea TR.
Another thing. When editing your profile, please put the state or provence you're from. If you just put your town no one will have any idea where you're from except if they know the area well.
Some people think that's a good thing. Privacy, you know. I have no problem with location catigories so long as people could choose to opt out. Why not by age also? Or why not just "ggroups" like other sites offer? You could create a group for your interest and people could join. Then you could brows profiles by group.
I don't think it is for everyone. Some folks are very private and I respect that. Just if you wanted to, you could include the state, country, age, whatever. I enjoy meeting folks from all over and have learned a lot from people of all walks of life, all ages and both genders. It was just a thought.

Good thouhghts. THis kinda ties into the locations in profile idea. We'll keep looking over various ways to do this and improve things.
I like it cause i often need to find people by location and age and what not.
